2012 11th Bombardment Group (H) Reunion

Col. Ken Rizer, 11th Wing Commander, has offered to host the 52nd 11th BGA reunion at Andrews AFB (JBA - Joint Base Andrews). The 11th Wing at JBA carries on the legacy and traditions of the 11th Bombardment Group (H).
The 11th Wing is responsible for maintaining emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift and other National Capital Region contingency response capabilities critical to national security, and for organizing, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready forces for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces (AEFs). The wing also provides installation security, services and airfield management to support the President, Vice President, other U.S. senior leaders and more than 50 tenant organizations and federal agencies.
The tentative date is May 16-20, 2012. The reason this is so soon is May 18-20 JBA will host the largest air show on the East coast. Friday the 18th is reserved for the military and the 11th BGA will be included. Col. Rizer is also going to try and help us with other base support. After the first of the year we should have more information and will most likely need to make our reservation early.
Brenda Fulkerson will be coordinating and documenting with the 11th. BGA team a mutual program for the 2012 reunion. We need to give Andrews AFB an idea of the number of rooms we will need ASAP - we are trying to get rooms on base at the Presidential Inn.
